Founded by a couple of enthusiasts New Era Festival is charming little gathering place for comics/art connoisseurs. Always a pleasure to participate and show some work from the bottom of a drawer.

NEW ERA is an international, worldwide, super-national, cosmic festival, summit, meeting, event of authors, activists, groups, publishers, editors, theoreticians, critics, enthusiasts, fans, and fanatics of independent, unaligned, alternative, artistic, noncommercial, underground comics, graphic novels, illustrated novels, illustration, comic theory, graphics, posters of comics, films made about comics and vise versa, video, animation, and experimental music, which will be held every year in Belgrade, but sometimes in other, bigger and smaller comics centers, cities, villages, and towns in Serbia, the Balkans, Europe, the world, the cosmos.

Springtime is a time for another Summit of Cheap Laser Graphics. This playful art project is perfect moment for browsing through my sketchbook, picking up an image and starting to play with it digitally.
The third International Spring Summit of Cheap Laser Graphics will run on 16th and 17th of May 2011. It’s titled “Art until the end” and it will take place in Pavilion Veljkovic at the Centre for cultural Decontamination, in Belgrade. This event will feature between 120 and 150 young artists and designers from all over the world. After the Belgrade exhibition The Summit of Cheap Laser Graphics starts its regional tour!

At the beginning of the year I was invited to make a painting for mobile global exhibition entitled Show your hope. Based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, art organization 80 Questions made this wonderful project, travelling exhibition which gathers artists from all over the world. It will be on display throughout Europe and Balkan region, and then who knows...Taking a break from computer and returning back in front of canvas, working with brushes and acrylics, those were mesmerizing and healing moments...

Since I've lost a bet with my students I've promised to make a grafitti after school year ends. Together with my former student Danilo Mimovic, for the first time in my life I created a grafitti.
We picked up a drawing from my sketchbook and got down to work with spray cans. Unbelievable fun and joy! Promise kept!

Working for Palgo center was a great challenge. Comissioned illustrations must be clear and recognizable, with strong visual concept which could easily be fitted to minimalistic layout of the magazine. Working with client with mutual understanding and trust, we are both very satisfied with final result.
The Center for Public Administration and Local Government PALGO was established in Belgrade in 1998 as an independent, non-profit making non-governmental organization. It aims to advance and develop the capacities of state institutions and organizations, to assist in the adoption of European and other international standards, and to encourage the effective and functional decentralization of government. The PALGO center is also active in education, training, research, consultancy, and publishing in the fields of public administration, public policy, local government and information technology.

From March 22nd till April 3rd I had an exhibition in gallery SULUJ, downtown Belgrade. Digital prints on canvas, distorted photographies turned into visual travelogue and journey sketchbook memorabilia were the main subjects of exhibited works.
